Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Credentials: Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities, and Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II)
Security and safety: Eligible for professional liability insurance

- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals and examine patients’ health condition to identify diseases and injuries
- The candidates should be able to help patients develop healthy habits, break old habits, and reshape their approach to wellness, order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment, and consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health
- The candidates should be able to prescribe and administer medications and treatments, perform and assist in routine surgery, and deliver babies and provide pre-natal and post-natal care
- The candidates should be able to advise patients on healthcare, report births, deaths, contagious diseases, and other diseases to government authorities, and be the patient advocate
- The candidates should be able to coordinate or manage primary patient care, provide acute care management, and provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
