Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
The candidates should be attentive to detail

Other Requirements:

The candidates should be accurate and reliable

Candidate Status:

Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to operate a cash register and process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments and scan items
The candidates should be able to receive payment for goods or services and calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
The candidates should be able to greet customers and provide customer service and assist customers with self-checkout
