Salary: $18.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register, Interact machine, and Price scanner
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and manage physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to maintain attention to detail, stand for extended periods, and bend, crouch, and kneel
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to be accurate, communicate orally with excellence, and show flexibility
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register, process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and scan items
- The candidates should be able to receive payment for goods or services, calculate daily/shift payments received, and reconcile with total sales
- The candidates should be able to stock shelves, clean the counter area, and greet customers
- The candidates should be able to wrap or place merchandise in bags, weigh produce and bulk foods, and provide customer service
- The candidates should be able to monitor all entrances and exits, and request proof of payment when necessary
