Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register, Interact machine, and price scanner

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• The candidates should be able to manage physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods and performing bending, crouching, and kneeling
• The candidates should be maintain attention to detail

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent oral communication, be accurate, flexibility, and be a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to operate cash registers, process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and scan items
• The candidates should be able to receive payment for goods or services, calculate daily/shift payments received, and reconcile with total sales
• The candidates should be able to stock shelves, clean counter areas, and wrap or place merchandise in bags
• The candidates should be able to greet customers, weigh produce and bulk foods, and provide customer service
• The candidates should be able to monitor all entrances and exits, and request proof of payment when necessary
