Animal specialization: Horses, Thoroughbred horses

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods
  • The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary to perform job duties effectively
  • The candidates should be able to handle weights of up to 45 kg (100 lbs) to fulfill job requirements

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate dependability and exercise good judgment in their decision-making
  • The candidates should exhibit good judgment and dependability in all aspects of their work

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be proficient in bathing, shampooing, and grooming animals to maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness standards
  • The candidates should be responsible for preparing food and feeding animals according to specified dietary requirements and feeding schedules
  • The candidates should monitor and document animal behavior, noting any changes or abnormalities for further evaluation and care
  • The candidates should ensure the cleanliness of stables, barns, barnyards, and pens to maintain a sanitary environment for the animals
  • The candidates should handle animals safely and effectively, using appropriate techniques to minimize stress and ensure their well-being
