Salary: $22.80 hourly for 8 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Morning
Work setting: Rural area, and Nursing home/home for the aged
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, and Child Abuse Registry check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be capable of working under pressure
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, capable of tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling, and able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) with care and precision
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, effectively communicating and collaborating with others, and demonstrate excellent oral communication abilities
- The candidates should exhibit interpersonal awareness, understanding the dynamics of different relationships, and demonstrate sound judgement in decision-making
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong focus on meeting client needs and be dependable and reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities
- The candidates should display flexibility in adapting to various situations, show initiative in taking on tasks and problem-solving, and be effective team players, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform housekeeping activities, make beds, and maintain patients’ rooms
- The candidates should be able to prepare food, serve meal trays, and feed patients
- The candidates should be able to resolve conflict situations, answer call signals to determine patients’ needs, and administer first aid in emergency situations
- The candidates should be able to supervise activities of clients living in group homes and halfway houses, accompany patients on outside recreational activities, and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
- The candidates should be able to administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas, supply and empty bedpans, and collect specimens
- The candidates should be able to transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher, weigh, lift, turn, and position patients, and assist with the set-up and maintenance of traction equipment, cleaning or sterilizing equipment, maintaining and repairing equipment, and assembling, setting up, and operating job-related equipment
