Salary: $16.00 to $21.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 4 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Casual employment Part time

Transportation information: Own transportation, Own vehicle
Work setting: Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre, School or educational institution/establishment

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word
Credentials: RCMP field investigation and security clearance, Criminology course certificate, Police and security course certificate, Security Guard License, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Security Guard basic (pre-assignment ) training program certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods
The candidates should have 20/20 vision

Other Requirements:

The candidates should be judgmental, reliable, should have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to enforce regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts and to monitor establishment activities
The candidates should be able to investigate unlawful acts of employees or patrons of establishments and recommend security systems
The candidates should be able to patrol assigned areas
