Salary: $28.40 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Toronto, ON
Shifts: Day, Shift, Flexible Hours, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and bend, crouch, and kneel as required by their role
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability, exhibit flexibility, and show reliability in their performance
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
- The candidates should be able to make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, contact tradespersons for major repairs, and contractors for the maintenance of the establishment
- The candidates should be able to perform minor repairs on appliances, conduct safety and security checks, move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and carry out other routine maintenance tasks like painting and drywall repair
