Salary: $18.50 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Richmond, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Staff accommodation available and Staff accommodation provided
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience or knowledge in fruit and vegetable combination farming
- The candidates should be familiar with other vegetables and melon farming (except potato)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean crops, hand-harvest vegetables, and clean work areas
- The candidates should be able to sort and pack fruits and vegetables, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to perform clipping, deleafing, and vegetable culling
- The candidates should be familiar with the vertical farming system and able to perform weeding
- The candidates should be able to cut seeds and clean greenhouses
