Salary: $28.50 hourly for 35 hours per week

Location: Mississauga, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Early Morning, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout their workday

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong client focus and demonstrate dependability
  • The candidates should display flexibility in their approach to tasks and show initiative in problem-solving and task execution
  • The candidates should be organized and reliable, and they should be team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to serve meal trays, feed patients with care, and attend to their dietary requirements, and weigh, lift, turn, and position patients safely according to established protocols
  • The candidates should be able to supervise patients’ exercise routines, ensuring correct and safe performance, and maintain inventory of supplies to ensure adequate stock levels for patient care
  • The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and groom patients with respect for their dignity and privacy, and transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers while prioritizing their comfort and safety
  • The candidates should be able to answer call signals promptly, determine patients’ needs, and provide assistance accordingly, and collect specimens for testing in a hygienic and efficient manner
  • The candidates should be able to accompany patients on outside recreational activities, promoting their well-being and comfort
