Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a focus on clients and interpersonal awareness
  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, show initiative, and exercise good judgment
  • The candidates should be reliable team players

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to supply and empty bedpans, serve meal trays, feed patients, make beds, and maintain patients’ rooms
  • The candidates should be able to take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, weigh, lift, turn, and position patients, and supervise patients’ exercise routines
  • The candidates should be able to maintain inventory of supplies and transport patients between care facilities, in a wheelchair or stretcher, and prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas
