Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have work experience operating a dump truck and loader

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should obtain a Transportation Dangerous Goods Certificate within 6 months of hire
  • The candidates should be prepared for travel and working in adverse weather conditions
  • The candidates should be willing to adhere to the mandatory use of personal protective equipment and maintain a personal tool kit
  • The candidates should adhere to the safety program and all applicable policies and procedures

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess a valid Class 3 driver’s license with air endorsement, which is mandatory
  • The candidates should be safety and service-oriented and should be dedicated to working in an environment that promotes respect, dependability, and reliability
  • The candidates should demonstrate motivation to learn and have effective oral communication skills
  • The candidates should be self-motivated and adaptable to changing conditions and should be willing to work to contribute to the team environment
  • The candidates must possess and maintain a valid Yukon Class 3 driver’s license with air endorsement and have YG competency on heavy equipment (loader and dump truck)
