Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and manage a large workload
• The candidates should be able to work overtime when required, perform physically demanding tasks, and work with tight deadlines

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be accurate and client-focused
• The candidates should be able to exercise judgment, reliable, and a team player

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials, and build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• The candidates should be able to fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, supervise other workers, and estimate costs and materials
• The candidates should be able to maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
