Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of certified Journeyman Electricians
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of experience experience in the relevant field
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be preference given to those who have completed the Industrial Apprenticeship Program and possess a 442A or 309A license
- The candidates should have knowledge of conveyors, motors, pumps, compressors, electrical, electronic controls, and high-speed packaging equipment
- The candidates should have strong working knowledge of HMIs, electric motor controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), basic wiring circuits, and the skills necessary to safely test common electrical systems and make minor repairs where permitted
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and code specifications to determine the layout of industrial equipment and installations
- The candidates should be able to conduct planned preventive and predictive maintenance and maintain accurate records
- The candidates should be able to actively participate in the preventive maintenance program for building and processing equipment on a daily basis
- The candidates should be able to efficiently set up, inspect, and shut down production equipment as required, including handling process changeovers
- The candidates should be able to assist in planning and organizing work activities, including drawing interpretation and parts preparation
- The candidates should be able to program, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, frequency drives, temperature controls, and other related devices
