Salary: $15.00 to $16.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 60 to 88 hours bi-weekly

Transportation information: Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence, and Public transportation is available
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge:Â Point of sale system
Own tools/equipment: Uniform
Credentials: Food Safety Certificate and ProServe program
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel and work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and work under pressure
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be focused on clients, should have efficient interpersonal skills, should have excellent oral communication
- The candidate should be flexible, should show initiative, should be organized
- The candidate should be reliable, should work as a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages and address customers’ complaints or concerns
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables and present bills to customers, accepting payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials for customers and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- The candidates should be able to advise on menu selections and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware and serve food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff and provide customer service
