Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education:Â Candidates should have Grade 12 education
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and as a team member and apply critical thinking skills effectively

Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a Home Care Attendant Certificate or Health Care Aide Certificate with a community component from a recognized post-secondary institute
- The candidates should possess knowledge of Safe Food Handling
- The candidates should complete and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check
- The candidates should possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license, have an all-purpose insured vehicle, and maintain liability insurance of at least $1,000,000
- The candidates should have previous experience working with the elderly or disabled in a community setting and working in a home care program
- The candidates should have good work and attendance record
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide personal care and home support services to home care clients based on an established plan of care
- The candidates should be able to work collaboratively as a member of the Home Care team, assisting clients to remain in their own homes safely
- The candidates should be able to exercise the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, methods, and actions, especially in unusual matters
- The candidates should be able to function in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the organization, as well as adhere to relevant policies and procedures
