Salary: $19.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Medical exam
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, and be able to handle heavy loads and manage physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks and be experienced in weight handling
- The candidates should be able to handle weights between 45 and 60 kg (100-132 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual, dependable, and reliable, and have patience
- The candidates should be client-focused, exhibit good judgment, and demonstrate honesty
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, be flexible, and be organized
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, including medications, and assist clients with bathing, other aspects of personal hygiene, and regular exercise (e.g., walking)
- The candidates should be able to change non-sterile dressings, feed or assist in feeding, and launder clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, plan therapeutic diets and menus, and provide companionship and personal care
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals and accompany clients to appointments and social outings
