Salary: $18.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Location: Vancouver, BC

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be flexible and able to take initiative
• The candidates should be reliable and patient

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to follow parents’ lead with toilet training, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shop for food and household supplies
• The candidates should be able to travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and supervise and care for children
• The candidates should be able to take children to and from school and to appointments and help children with homework

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
