Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Security and safety: Criminal Record Check And Vulnerable Sector Check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks, perform repetitive tasks, and work under pressure
• The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should focus on the client, demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, and exhibit excellent oral communication
• The candidate should exhibit excellent written communication, be flexible, and take initiative
• The candidate should exercise good judgement, be organized, and be reliable

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to change diapers, follow parents’ lead with toilet training, and sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
• The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, and wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
• The candidates should be able to bathe, dress and feed infants and children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare infants and children for rest periods

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
