Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have a client focus, demonstrate flexibility, and be reliable

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, shop for food and household supplies, and wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
• The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, care for foster children, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize activities such as games and outings, and prepare and serve nutritious meals for children
• The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods, supervise and care for children, and take them to and from school and appointments, while tending to their emotional well-being
