Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, handle repetitive tasks, and pay attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should take initiative, exercise judgement, and be organized
• The candidates should demonstrate reliability, be patient, and demonstrate honesty

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, and care for pets
• The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, supervise and care for children, and take children to and from school and to appointments

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
