Work setting: Employer’s home and Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their approach to work and show initiative in their tasks
- The candidates should be organized in their work and reliable in fulfilling their duties
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and change diapers for infants
- The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children and tend to their emotional well-being
