Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Credentials: Food allergy and anaphylaxis training, and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Drug test, and Medical exam

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, perform repetitive tasks, and work under pressure, overtime may be required for this position, and the job may be physically demanding, with weight handling of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) necessary for this role

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate client focus, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and exhibit excellent oral communication abilities
• The candidates should display flexibility, show initiative, and exercise good judgment.
• The candidates should be organized and reliable

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• The candidates should be able to travel with the family on trips, assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, and wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
• The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, care for foster children, and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
• The candidates should be able to sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and change diapers for infants, supervise and care for children, and take children to and from school and to appointments
• The candidates should be able to tend to the emotional well-being of children
