Salary: $17.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: Saint-Laurent, QC
Target audience: School age (6 – 12 years)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents effectively, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties diligently, and shop for food and household supplies proficiently
- The candidates should be able to travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties competently, wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens meticulously, and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children properly
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents effectively, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development empathetically, and keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children accurately
- The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home diligently, organize activities such as games and outings for children creatively, and prepare and serve nutritious meals proficiently
- The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods appropriately, supervise and care for children attentively, and take children to and from school and to appointments punctually
- The candidates should be able to tend to the emotional well-being of children empathetically and help children with homework effectively
