Salary: $18.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Surrey, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Overtime, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available, and Travel expenses paid by employer
Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Relocation costs covered by employer, and Willing to relocate

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be non-smokers and physically fit to meet the demands of a physically demanding job
  • The candidates should be capable of efficiently handling repetitive tasks and able to handle weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and tasks and possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • The candidates should exhibit excellent oral communication abilities and demonstrate excellent written communication skills
  • The candidates should display flexibility in their work approach and show initiative in taking proactive steps to accomplish tasks
  • The candidates should exercise good judgment in decision-making and be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities
  • The candidates should demonstrate reliability in meeting deadlines and commitments and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • The candidates should be able to travel with the family on trips, assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, and wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
  • The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, supervise and care for children, and take children to and from school and to appointments
  • The candidates should be able to tend to the emotional well-being of children and help children with homework
