Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year 
Credentials: Emergency child care first aid and CPR and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Reference required

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be non-smoking

• The candidates should be organized, exhibit reliability, demonstrate patience, and show honesty

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and organize activities such as games and outings for children
• The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, prepare infants and children for rest periods, supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and to appointments, tend to the emotional well-being of children, and help children with homework
