Salary: $19.00 to $19.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: North York, ON
Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment, Work in employer’s/client’s home

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a non-smoking environment
• The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, exhibit client focus, and show initiative
• The candidates should be organized, display reliability, and have patience
• The candidates should demonstrate honesty

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, assist in regular exercise (e.g., walk), and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• The candidates should be able to provide companionship, personal care, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
