Salary: $17.05 hourly for 3 to 80 hours bi-weekly

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Certificate of Conduct and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Reference required, Immunization records, Tuberculosis test, and Vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required, perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, sit for extended periods, and walk as needed
- The candidates should be skilled in weight handling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual, dependable, and reliable
- The candidates should have a client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and flexibility
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, and provide personal care
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shop for food and household supplies
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship and prepare and serve nutritious meals
