Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Urban area, and Work in employer’s/client’s home

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Reference required, and Vulnerable sector check

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be non-smoking
The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling when necessary, and adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to handle heavy loads safely
The candidates should be willing to work overtime when required and physically fit for demanding tasks
The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and stand for extended periods as needed
The candidates should be capable of walking as part of their regular job duties and able to work effectively under pressure

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to care for pets and administer bedside and personal care, including administering medications
The candidates should be able to assist clients in water (i.e., pool) and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, and assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder
The candidates should be able to change non-sterile dressings, feed or assist in feeding, and launder clothing and household linens
The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, provide companionship, and provide personal care
