Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Health Care Aide Certificate
Security and safety: Reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers and able to handle weights between 45 and 60 kg (100-132 lbs) as required for the role
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize punctuality in their attendance and demonstrate dependability in fulfilling their responsibilities
- The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
- The candidates should exhibit excellent oral communication abilities and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances
- The candidates should show initiative in taking proactive steps to address challenges and exercise good judgment in decision-making situations
- The candidates should maintain an organized approach to their work and be reliable in fulfilling their duties

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, and assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household (in the absence of the householder), feed or assist in feeding, and launder clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, provide companionship, and provide personal care
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals
