Shifts: Day, Evening, Morning
Work setting: Employer’s home
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should not smoke and should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and capable of performing repetitive tasks efficiently
- The candidates should also be comfortable standing for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong client focus and be well-organized
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist clients in water (i.e., pool) and with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, and assume full responsibility for the household (in the absence of the householder)
- The candidates should be able to mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and plan therapeutic diets and menus
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship, personal care, and shop for food and household supplies
- The candidates should also be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals
