The Quarterdeck Resort based in Port Mouton, NS is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Host/hostess, restaurant. The Quarterdeck Resort is a full-service which strives to offer an array of on-site amenities that will make our customers travel experience more enjoyable. Our hotel has everything to meet the needs of people including an on-site restaurant, lounge, bar, room service, meeting space, and more. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $14.50 hourly 10 to 40 hours bi-weekly
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Part time
Location: Port Mouton, NS
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning
Work setting: Restaurant, Resort
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, should have excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to greet customers
- The candidates should be able to receive customers’ reservations and assign tables
- The candidates should be able to receive payments from customers
