Salary: $17.00 hourly 32 to 42 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Drive manual transmission vehicle, Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation
Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel
Own tools/equipment: Computer, Uniform, Pager
Credentials: Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles and buses with fewer than 24 passengers), RCMP field investigation and security clearance, Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
Area of work experience: Parking lot attendant, Doorman/woman, Car storage attendant, Car jockey
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract), Driver’s validity licence check, Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to stand, and walk for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
  • The candidates should be able to work underground, air conditioned area, in wet/damp area, noisy area, odours, outdoors, hot area, dusty area, and cold/refrigerated area

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be client focus, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to deal with public
  • The candidates should be able to maintain work areas
  • The candidates should be able to produce reports, enforce regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts and to monitor establishment activities
  • The candidates should be able to perform services specific to the establishments in which their occupations are found
  • The candidates should be able to perform security checks of passengers and luggage
  • The candidates should be able to patrol assigned areas
  • The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs
