Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home, private residence, and employer’s home

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge
Own tools/equipment: Uniform
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be non-smokers
  • The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks and demonstrate attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking comfortably
  • The candidates should be capable of lifting weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should display flexibility and show initiative
  • They should be organized and reliable, possessing patience and demonstrating honesty

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, as well as dusting furniture
  • The candidates should be capable of vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, and making beds while changing sheets
  • The candidates should be responsible for distributing clean towels and toiletries, stocking the linen closet, and disinfecting operating rooms and other areas
  • The candidates should also be able to pick up debris, empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, and clean changing rooms and showers
