Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset 
Own tools/equipment: Uniform
Security and safety: Bondable and criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work independently, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, perform physically demanding tasks, and pay attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and work overtime if required
• The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods, stand for extended periods, and walk for extended periods

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• The candidates should be able to make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, and launder clothing and household linens
• The candidates should be able to mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, and wash windows, walls and ceiling

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
