Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work independently, perform repetitive tasks, and bend, crouch, and kneel
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be dependable, able to take initiative, and able to exercise good judgement
- The candidates should be organized, reliable, and value ethics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- The candidates should be able to make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closet
- The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and pick up debris and empty trash containers
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies, wash windows, walls and ceilings, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
