Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work independently
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate dependability, stay organized, and demonstrate reliability
- The candidates should be able to show honesty
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- The candidates should be able to make beds, change sheets, stock linen closet, and clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- The candidates should be able to handle and report lost and found items, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, and wash windows, walls and ceilings
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
