Salary: $16.75 to $17.75 hourly (To be negotiated) 32.5 to 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Richmond, BC
Shifts: 10:00 to 16:30
Target audience: Kindergarten age (4 – 5 years), Toddler to pre-school (1 – 3 years)
Type of product: Food and food products

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Medical exam

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work under pressure, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
• The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
• The candidates should be able to work in non-smoking area

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be punctual, dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
• The candidates should be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, wash windows, walls and ceilings, dust furniture
• The candidates should be able to handle and report lost and found items, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• The candidates should be able to disinfect operating rooms and other areas, food preparation
• The candidates should be able to do food safety/handling skills, clean kitchen and work areas, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• The candidates should be able to make beds and change sheets, provide basic information on facilities
• The candidates should be able to short order cooking and food preparation, sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
