Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, On Call, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Willing to travel, and Public transportation is available
Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Reference required

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be non-smoking and comfortable working outdoors
  • The candidates should be able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment, capable of working under pressure
  • The candidates should be adept at meeting tight deadlines and handling repetitive tasks, as well as capable of handling heavy loads
  • The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work and have a keen attention to detail, comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • The candidates should be able to balance sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day, willing to work overtime when required
  • The candidates should be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting and standing for extended periods, as well as walking as part of their duties
  • The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, as well as dust furniture
  • The candidates should be able to vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, as well as make beds and change sheets
  • The candidates should be able to distribute clean towels and toiletries, as well as stock the linen closet
  • The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, as well as disinfect operating rooms and other areas
  • The candidates should be able to handle and report lost and found items, as well as attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
  • The candidates should be able to provide basic information on facilities, as well as pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, as well as launder clothing and household linens
  • The candidates should be able to mend clothing and linens, as well as perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies, as well as wash windows, walls, and ceilings
  • The candidates should be able to clean changing rooms and showers, as well as address customers’ complaints or concerns
