Work setting: Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be organized
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to plan and control budget and expenditures, train, direct and motivate staff, plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
  • The candidates should be able to establish and implement policies and procedures, manage contracts
  • The candidates should be able to plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies, organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • The candidates should be able to manage training and development strategies, liaise with management, union officials and HR consultants
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the preparation of reports, respond to employee questions and complaints
  • The candidates should be able to negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers, oversee payroll administration
