Shifts: Day, Evening, Early Morning, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Human resources
Computer and technology knowledge: Human resources software
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in their work.

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess excellent oral communication skills and exhibit excellent written communication skills
  • The candidates should be organized in their tasks and responsibilities and be strong team players
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and be reliable in fulfilling their duties

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs, advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements, and establish and implement policies and procedures
  • The candidates should be able to mediate labor disputes and grievances, oversee the classification and rating of occupations, and research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
  • The candidates should be able to administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs, co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs, and manage training and development strategies
  • The candidates should be able to research employee benefits and health and safety practices, recommend changes, hire, train, and supervise staff, and negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures, and oversee occupational health and safety practices
