Salary: $27.00 hourly 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Saskatoon, SK
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer, Remote location, Rural area

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Guide specialization: Hunting (firearms)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, in or on water, and in confined spaces while being aware of potential dangers
  • The candidates should also be comfortable working in wet or damp conditions, tolerate various odors, and work in hot or cold environments
  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and be capable of handling heavy loads
  • The candidates should be physical fit for demanding tasks, possessing manual dexterity, and being able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking are necessary
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, walk for extended periods, and bend, crouch, and kneel as required

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate a strong client focus, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral communication abilities
  • The candidates should exhibit flexibility in their approach to tasks, show initiative in problem-solving and decision-making, and exercise good judgment in various situations
  • The candidates should be organized in their work habits, demonstrate reliability in meeting commitments, and be effective team players, collaborating well with colleagues

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate and maintain firearms
  • The candidates should be able to plan trips
  • The candidates should be able to set up and take down camps
