Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years

• The candidates should be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
• The candidates should be able to test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
• The candidates should be able to maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors
• The candidates should be able to maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
• The candidates should be able to maintain inventory of stored material, and troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
• The candidates should be able to interpret electrical code specifications, and conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
• The candidates should be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
• The candidates should be able to install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
