Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, criminal record check, medical exam, and immunization records
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability in their work and responsibilities
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication and teamwork
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and tasks
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
- The candidates should assist early childhood educators in executing developmental programs for children
- The candidates should lead activities like storytelling, singing, and local outings to enhance children’s learning
- The candidates should encourage children’s creativity through art, play, music, and physical activities
- The candidates should engage children with storytelling, songs, and craft preparation
- The candidates should prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods
- The candidates should observe children for learning or behavioral issues and provide detailed reports
- The candidates should submit written observations on children to supervisors or educators
- The candidates should discuss children’s progress and issues in staff meetings
- The candidates should understand and comply with licensing regulations
- The candidates should establish behavior guidelines for children
- The candidates should build and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community providers
- The candidates should plan and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children’s health and well-being
