No of Vacancies: 1
Salary: $18.00 to $23.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime
Transportation information: Willing to travel and Valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Awnings and Signs/billboards
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, and Cellular phone
Credentials: Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification, Working at heights training, First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail, handle heavy loads, and work overtime as required
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be punctual, should be accurate, should be focused on clients
- The candidate should be dependable, should have efficient interpersonal skills, should have excellent oral communication
- The candidate should be flexible, should be organized, should be reliable
- The candidate should work as a team player, should uphold values and ethics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate professionalism in customer service, determine layout and installation procedures, and measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
- The candidates should be able to prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, and utilize hand and power tools
- The candidates should be able to erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
