Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completed an electrical or instrumentation-related program at a post-secondary institution
Experience: Candidates should have five or more years of trades experience in a heavy industrial field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit good physical fitness and the ability to climb ladders and the capability to serve as relief supervisors
- The candidates should be available to work a rotation schedule of either 7 days on/7 days off or 14 days on/14 days off
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have acquired trade qualifications through a progressive apprenticeship program leading to certification
- The candidates should hold a Licensed Red Seal Instrumentation and Control Technician certification, with a dual trade Licensed Red Seal Industrial Electrician certification and with mineral processing industry experience regarded
- The candidates should demonstrate solid comprehension and proficiency in reading and interpreting P&ID, PFD, electrical, and mechanical drawings, as well as operations manuals
- The candidates should have knowledge of DCS Emerson Delta-V and PLC Allen Bradley systems and possess strong working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems and prior experience in start-up operations
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to practice safe work behaviors and actively support the Magino safety culture through participation in daily and monthly safety meetings
- The candidates should be able to perform maintenance functions and duties associated with predictive and preventative maintenance programs
- The candidates should be able to perform repairs, calibration, and maintenance using technical drawings
- The candidates should be able to specify, select, install, maintain, and repair measurement and control devices and systems and coordinate activities during planned and forced outages
- The candidates should be able to clearly report details of work and task completion and update drawings and prints accordingly
- The candidates should be able to produce and update concise and timely reports and critical documentation and partake in training sessions to stay up-to-date with site equipment
- The candidates should be able to identify and report any unsafe work habits, workplace incidents, and near misses and perform risk assessments before each task
- The candidates should be able to maintain a neat and orderly workplace and perform all duties in accordance with company policies and Standard Operating Procedures
- The candidates should be able to work in conjunction with the Maintenance Planner for preventative maintenance and specialized or capital work and perform other duties
