Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
Experience: Candidates should have 4 to 6 years of outbound sales experience and are comfortable earning 100% commission

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills and demonstrate effective decision-making abilities

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should ensure all prerequisites are completed prior to their start date
  • The candidates should have a passion for financial planning and a keen interest in portfolio management
  • The candidates should have strong relationship-building skills and the ability to connect with all types of individuals
  • The candidates should have experience in a direct marketing role, financial services, and demonstrated success in high-value sales and business development, regardless of industry or discipline
  • The candidates should have completed the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH), Personal Financial Planner (PFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
  • The candidates should excel in interpersonal relationship management and build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
  • The candidates should have a background in investment banking and experience in investment consulting and experience in consulting
  • The candidates should have experience in private banking, knowledge of product and possess skills in investment management services

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to lean on RBC Dominion Securities’ strong brand and reputation to build a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners, and manage their complex financial
  • The candidates should be able to leverage RBC’s extensive investment and wealth management resources to create customized portfolios and wealth plans for their clients
  • The candidates should be able to foster trusted, often multi-generational, long-term relationships using personalized service and advice
  • The candidates should be able to establish and maintain reciprocal relationships with RBC partners such as Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance to ensure their clients are supported in all aspects of their financial lives
