Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Secondary Education Diploma
Experience: Candidates should have Previous bartending experience and restaurant serving experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have knowledge of POS systems and experience in cash handling
- The candidates should be outgoing and guest-oriented, with the ability to engage with customers effectively
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on their feet for 9-10 hour shifts
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have knowledge of basic safety practices, including knife handling, handling intoxicated guests, and ensuring wet floors are appropriately managed
- The candidates should have a Serving It Right certificate, demonstrating their knowledge of responsible alcohol service
- The candidates should be service-oriented, with a focus on providing excellent guest service
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to set up and clean up the pub according to supervisor’s guidelines
- The candidates should be able to check identification to ensure that minors do not enter the premises
- The candidates should be able to serve guests in an efficient and friendly manner to exceed their expectations
- The candidates should be able to handle all cash transactions properly using the Profitek POS system and be responsible for opening and closing inventories
- The candidates should be able to pick up and prepare food items, including proper use of kitchen utensils such as the pizza oven, and follow proper cleaning procedures
- The candidates should be able to understand liquor and food costing and how it affects the outlet’s profitability
- The candidates should be able to monitor inventories, revenues, labor costs, food costs, and overall profitability and keep the Bars Manager informed of the status
- The candidates should be able to ensure food quality and guest service in all products and areas
- The candidates should be able to work with the Bars Manager to develop and implement pub concepts, activities, specials, advertising, and marketing plans
