Salary: $28.00 to $34.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Cleaning
Equipment: Industrial Vacuum Cleaners/Power Sweepers, Power Tools, Swimming Pool Maintenance and Cleaning Equipment, Snowblower
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and First Aid Certificate

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be dependable, flexible, organized, and reliable

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs, operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse, and empty trash cans and other waste containers
• The candidates should be able to wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings, make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• The candidates should be able to perform safety and security checks, water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
• The candidates should be able to work with minimal supervision and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
