Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of work experience: Appraisal, Cleaning, Fabrication, Gem and stone cutting, Gem and stone setting, Jewellery assembling, Repair
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to distinguish between colours
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye coordination
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, client focus, and judgmental
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean all parts using special cleaning and rinsing solutions and ultrasonic or mechanical cleaning machines
- The candidates should be able to appraise gemstones and diamonds to identify rare specimens and to detect peculiarity affecting stone values
- The candidates should be able to examine, cut, shape and polish diamonds and precious and synthetic gems
- The candidates should be able to fabricate and repair precious and semi-precious metal Jewellery
- The candidates should be able to set precious and semi-precious stones in Jewellery mountings
